We welcome you to join us anytime for prayer!
Morning Prayer:
Happens weekly, Monday through Thursday, at 9am. We gather in the sanctuary, sing a contemplative song, share a communion with God in silence for about 20 minutes and speak prayers for the larger communities to which we belong. It is a simple and powerful way to begin the day.
Taize service:
We have two Taize services monthly. The 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm and the second Thursday of the month at noon. This beautiful service of silence, scripture and song is modeled after the Taize community in France.
Worship:
It is one of our on-going practices to teach different ways of praying during our worship services on Sunday mornings at 10am. We have creative prayer responses (like journaling or writing a letter to God) as well as frequent Lectio Divina or Ignatian Prayer with Scripture to help us listen for God’s voice through scripture.
